1. I'm considering using the Brian Hendricks easy set face system on a couple of Bobcats this year. Any pros and cons from people who have used the easy set system is greatly appreciated. I would like tot know the good, the bad and the ugly.

3. Love love and more love it ... Go with it. !! The forms cost more but I try to get costomers to go with his forms and face setting system

5. Look at the cat I mounted on one of his forms with easy face set. It's under "bobcat I mounted "

6. I love the forms, But I cut the heads off and use a change out head. I alter almost every bobcat head I mount anyways. Kinda hard to alter plastic and those awful tuff wings. Might be good to give a beginner a start. Some say they are good for production, but i can alter and set the eyes quicker, then I can screwing around with those things. And I personally hate plastic noses on bobcats. Now that's just my personal opinion. Your customer probably won't care even if you used a change out head a mr potato head, or a easy set face.

7. when I fist saw them ,,, It looked like cut and paste type of affair. I love the tab Hilton change out heads . its a little more work but you can really create the look you want . When they came out with the plastic jaw set I thought WOW.. Ive grown up now and realized one size don't fit all.. I'm not saying it no a great thing its just not for me . You cant do anything other than what your given . mark c

8. Thanks for the input everyone. I know there is those that consider it snap together taxidermy but if it gives a good product then it is worth it.

9. I'm not a cat guy by any means, here is the first one I used. May use it again on commercial mounts.

11. my wife did her 1st bobcat on this system and took a blue ribbon it turn out nice

12. I think his forms are really nice, but I have to agree with Mark. I like to create my own expressions and such with all of my cats/predators, and it's tough to do with the pre-set lids/face. Don't get me wrong, I think that is great that some are able to achieve some really nice results with them and for that, I would say keep using them if they are working for you.

15. I think they do make a something like that for whitetail. its in the WASCO catalog. CAD system or something like that.

16. I think its called Redi-Mount system. it looks kinda pricey tho.

17. The forms are good, but the heads are not! In my opinion features on the head are overdone and anatomy is just off. Takes some serious altering, which on plastic isn't easy and why put the time in altering plastic when you can start with a standard foam head and learn how to do it correctly. The snap together stuff takes way more effort than just doing it yourself.

    BTW, I mounted 1 cat using it just because the customer loved the pose so I thought why not. Well I had that guys friend come in (my best customer too) with a bobcat this week and he told me he didn't like the head on that cat! I have never had anybody negatively comment on my bobcats, but the 1 time I tried that snap together crap I got one. Learned my lesson.

20. how can you blame the head when you modified it wouldn't it then become yours? I say if you don't like it that's cool, but that just struck me as ironic!

21. I think the easy set face system is far from snap together crap because even though it is a 2 piece face system it's still up to the taxidermist as to how good the mount will look in the end.
